According to reports, Meghan will have not one, not two, but a team of 20 doctors who will be by her side to make sure that her first childbirth experience will be as smooth as possible. Britain’s Daily Star reports that the medics will be on call 24 hours a day and are banned from alcohol until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby is born.

And while it looks like Meghan’s pregnancy has been treating her well so far, the royal family want to make sure that the Duchess will be in good hands. She is also expected to give birth at the luxurious Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital in London. During that time, only four of the doctors will be in the delivery room with her and Prince Harry. The rest of the team will be on call, should anyone have any questions or if there will be a sudden emergency.
The team of doctors will include two obstetricians, three midwives, three anesthetists, four surgical staff, two special care baby-unit staff, four pediatricians, one lab technician and three or four managers.
So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the pregnancy, although the royal dad-to-be did say that he would love to have a baby girl. Meghan is due sometime in the Spring of 2019. Stay tuned for more details here!
