Meghan Markle Hosted A ‘Going Away’ Party For Her Old Clothes Before Hollywood Fame

It looks like Meghan Markle had a very creative way of getting rid of some of her old clothes before she became the famous Hollywood star and royal family member that she is today. Reports say that the now Duchess of Sussex apparently hosted a “going away” party for her old clothes several years ago.

According to Vanity Fair, Meghan invited all of her closest friends for a ‘Sayonara Zara’ party. She supposedly gave away her lower-priced clothes to her guests including a lot of items that she bought from the popular Spanish retailer.

These days the former Suits star doesn’t have to worry about her wardrobe, as she gets to wear exclusive and custom-made gowns as the Duchess of Sussex. What’s more, Meghan is also often seen wearing some accessories that she’s borrowed from either Queen Elizabeth or Princess Diana’s jewelry box, including a pair of butterfly earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law.

With her trendy and modern yet sophisticated style, Meghan has fast become one of the most stylish women in the public eye. It’s no wonder that many fashionistas from both sides of the pond love to copy her looks as many of the items that she wears during her public appearances and royal engagements often sell out within hours of her wearing them.
