According to the latest reports, Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series branded ‘staged’ after she rented out $8 million mansion to film in while trying to show off her authentic lifestyle. 

Markle’s new series ‘With Love, Meghan’ shows the Duchess cooking, gardening, crafting and getting honey from her garden beehive. 

However, the show has been branded ‘staged’ after it has been revealed that the house is not even hers, and was instead rented specifically for the show. The rental home was just 2 miles from her own home, per the Daily Mail.

Of course, the internet certainly has had a lot to say about the matter. Some have even commented with, “How is it authentic when she is in someone else’s garden, someone else’s house and someone else’s kitchen?”

“It’s amazing how hard she and Harry work not to work. I wonder who their target demographic is for this show, I don’t know anybody who likes her.”

Another critic wrote, “For security reasons, a royal is clearly not going to film in their own home. It’s not inauthentic or inconsistent with British or American values to want one’s family to be safe from harm.”

And then there was this comment as well: “With Love, give me a break. She called Trump a bunch of names. People ruin their careers like that. She automatically made enemies of half the country here. I hope With Love, Meghan has a better chance over there. Guarantee half the country will not watch this because of her big mouth.”
