Sooner or later, the money is going to run out and he knows it. There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle is spending a fortune on trying to look the part of a princess and of course, her husband Prince Harry is none too pleased about it.

Per the latest reports, it seems as though the Duchess of Sussex has spent a pretty penny trying to look like the Princess of Montecito in her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. She currently has a holiday special coming out just in time for Christmas.

However, Harry and Meghan don’t have the royal budget in order to be spending money on royal fashion and jewels. But that doesn’t really seem to matter to Meghan as she apparently “spent a small fortune upgrading her wardrobe” right before she began filming the show.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Meghan has always loved designer clothes and fancy things but the crowd she’s fallen in with in Montecito are next-level rich and that has absolutely raised the bar for her when it comes to her own style.”

“They all have stylists and think nothing of wearing hundreds of thousands in jewelry, if not millions, on a day-to-day basis.”

It’s also been said that Meghan is the kind of person who feels like she needs to keep up with everyone in the community and that it’s also a part of her brand to always look polished and fashionable.

The Duchess of Sussex also “feels a lot of pressure to embody this royal image that she’s clinging to.”

If that weren’t enough, the insider also added, “That means looking the part at all times. That’s why she hired an A-list stylist because she needs to exude quiet luxury at all times and that does take a lot of effort, not to mention a ton of money.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter. But whether or not Prince Harry puts a stop to this behavior remains to be seen. After all, it’s not like they have many sources of income coming in right now, right?
