But is it really a big deal? The Christmas card does also feature Prince Harry and the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, but everyone seems to be focused on Meghan and what she’s wearing instead.
It’s not like she’s wearing a short dress or anything that shows off Meghan’s body. Instead, it just shows her silhouette, which is enough to get a lot of critics upset. But is it really a scandal? That’s what everyone wants to know.

Then again, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some critics even commented with, “Clothes can be so tricky too in different lighting, especially sunlight. I feel like seeing someone’s legs isn’t that big of a deal, it’s not like you can see what M is wearing underneath. I don’t see the issue with the Christmas card.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “Kate has always been an exhibitionist. Remember the topless vacation photos?”
“But now, she’s so prim and proper and Meghan is disgusting for not wearing a slip under a cotton dress while living in sunny and hot California.”
And then there was this comment as well: “No excuse not to have weighted hems! Meghan’s dress looks like it could be linen, which seems totally Southern California and perfect. If she were posing differently this would be a non issue. The picture is beautiful!”
So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although it’s doubtful that anything will be said at this point. Watch this space for more.
