In a recent interview with ITV, Prince Harry talked about his legal battles and why he’s so keen on winning back his 24/7 UK taxpayer-funded security.
“It’s still dangerous. All it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read. Whether it’s a knife or acid, these are things that are of genuine concern for me. It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country,” Harry said during the chat.
However, according to a former Archewell employee, while Meghan is supportive of her husband, she does wish he’d let it go and move on.
Meghan Markle – Reportedly “Supports Her Husband 100 Percent” In Lawsuits
The Duchess of Sussex is said to “support” her husband as he fights Home Office for greater police protection for his family. Harry lost his 24/7 MET polic
protection after he and wife Meghan quit their roles as senior royals to move to America.
The former employee revealed that Meghan, 42, “supports Harry 100 per cent, but she wishes he could let go of these lawsuits, be happy and live in the moment.”
They continued: “She wants him to be free of all of this, but she also knows that because of everything he’s been through and his love for [her and their children], he can’t. She wants him to live in a world where he is not burdened by this.”
According to PEOPLE, multiple Harry sources claim that the 39-year-old believes that his father King Charles wields the power to reinstate his security.
His relationship with his family was also something that Harry opened up about during his ITV interview, which was aired on July 25.
Speaking on the ongoing rift with his family, he claimed the press are partly to blame. He also accused his family of not backing him in his fight against British tabloids and against Ravec. FYI, the Ravec committee decides security for royalty, VIPs and senior public figures.
