Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Is Still Healing From Her Past Trauma
In a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the Duchess of Sussex said that she still struggles with her healing journey.
That’s one of the many reasons why she and her husband Prince Harry have started The Parents Network to aid other moms and dads who have children who have suffered because of online bullying.
Meghan also said that she started the initiative because of her own suicidal thoughts that she had experienced in the past. Clearly, she doesn’t want anyone to feel the same way she did before.
The mother-of-two admitted in an interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021 that she just “didn’t want to be alive anymore” while she was being bullied by the British press back then.
Royal Family News – Meghan Is Still Working On Her Own Progress
Meghan’s experience was so bad that it forced her and Prince Harry to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family and move to California to start their new lives as a result. It seems to have been the best decision made for their family.
The Duchess of Sussex said, “When you’ve been through any level of pain or trauma, I believe part of our healing journey — certainly part of mine — is being able to be really open about it.”
Meghan continued, “I really scraped the surface on my experience, but I do think that I would never want someone else to feel that way and I would never want someone else to be making those sort of plans and I would never want someone else to not be believed.”
So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details once they come in.
