All of the attention is going to be on King Charles’s funeral and Prince William becoming the next king of England.
But for the Duchess of Sussex, she can’t let that happen. That’s because she’s been working all around the clock making sure that her new lifestyle show on Netflix and her brand, As Ever, becomes as successful as possible.
However, that’s not going to happen if the public turns their attention back to the royal family in the UK. And that’s exactly what’s going to happen the moment that King Charles passes away.

After all, Meghan Markle did deal with all of the before. Back in March 2024, she was forced to press the pause button on the launch of her brand when Kate Middleton announced that she was diagnosed with cancer.

It’s been well over a year, but Meghan doesn’t want to put her business on hold because of the royal family. She can’t afford to suffer any more losses but that’s certainly going to happen if her father-in-law dies.
Plus, Meghan knows that she’s going to look quite insensitive if she continues to promote her brand while the UK mourns the loss of their beloved king. But if she does say something about the king’s death, people won’t take her seriously, either. She loses no matter what.
