It looks like she’s made her decision and it’s final. There’s heavy speculation suggesting that Meghan Markle wants absolutely nothing to do with her father, Thomas Markle, even though he stated that he’s dying. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Meghan Markle Just Brushed Off Her Dying Father

The elder Markle is currently in the hospital in The Philippines. Earlier this month, he had to have his leg amputated during an emergency surgery.

Thomas Markle told reporters that he wants to see his daughter Meghan before he dies. Not only that, but he also wants to finally meet his son-in-law, Prince Harry, and his two royal grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

But it looks like that’s not going to happen anytime soon because the Duchess of Sussex has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with her father, even though he might be on his death bed.

That’s because a new report says that Duchess Meghan has no plans to visit or call her father. All she did was send him a handwritten note but she doesn’t plan on further engaging with him, regardless of what might happen to Thomas in the near future.

Things have been pretty bad between Meghan and her father ever since he was caught working with the paparazzi to fake a shoot right before her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018. Both Harry and Meghan have not been on speaking terms with Thomas since then.

But that doesn’t mean Thomas Markle hasn’t stopped trying to reach out to his daughter. He’s granted multiple interviews with the press in which he said that all he wants to do at this point is end his estrangement with Meghan and meet his grandchildren for the first time. Sadly, that has never happened and at this point it looks like it’s never going to happen, either.

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any public comments about the matter, but at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.

But whether or not she actually goes to her father’s funeral – when it happens – remains to be seen. Watch this space for more.
