Meghan Markle Needs ‘Suits’ Friends More Than Ever, But They’ve Lost Her Number

British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle the Douchess of Sussex could really use a friend following four years of failure.

Her Spotify boss called her a grifter, her Netflix memoir cartoon Pearl was cancelled, and this year she launched a jamscam roundly ridiculed by experts and commoners alike.

What’s next for the woman with the goldplate touch? Here’s what one celebrity PR expert suggests for Meghan Markle and her aspirations.

Royal Family News: Meghan and her Nachos Merch

PR guru Kayley Cornelius told Express that Meghan is at the point where she could use a little help from her friends.

In particular, she suggests that Meghan ask her glory day, former “Suits” co-stars to help a girl out. Meghan appeared on the show from 2011 to 2018.

Maybe she could call them to appear on her new podcast with Lemonada Media: “Initially, we might expect her to call in favors from her remaining friends and work through their networks.” Remaining friends is the key phrase here.

Royal News: Does Meghan Have any Remaining Friends?

Cornelius added that former “Suits” actors Abigail Spencer and Wendell Pierce “likely remain accessible points of contact for Meghan.” But they don’t have the name cache that Oprah and Tyler have, do they?

In case you missed it, in February Meghan and Lemonada Media announced a brand new deal that would see Archetypes taken to new heights. Except that shortly after, that deal was postponed to debut in 2025. Don’t hold your breath.

The deal was struck after Spotify decided not to renew their $20 million deal for a second season of “Archetypes.”

Royal Family News: Meghan Turning Lemons Into Lemonada

Earlier this year Markle said: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting. Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.” Actually, no. Lemonada is just another team and project that’s been Markled.

Although Cornelius wants Markle to leverage her Hollywood contacts to achieve the success that has eluded her, others have pointed out that “Harry and Meghan’s circle is getting smaller and smaller.” So thinks Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell.

He told Closer that any remaining A-listers in the Sussex camps are “dropping like flies … Oprah [Winfrey] no longer seems involved with them and some other celebrities have also dropped them.”

Reports indicate that that list includes George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, and Idris Elba. But who needs A-list friends when they can depend on cronies like polo stud Nacho Figueras?
