According to Radio Times, Meghan Markle could soon be back at the top of her acting game with a plum voice-over role on the popular, long-running cartoon show, The Simpsons. This news comes after The Simpsons showrunner and executive producer Al Jean recently discussed this possibility in an interview with the outlet.
If the showrunner is indeed serious, the Duchess of Sussex may have finally landed a post-royal entertainment role. The long-running hit cartoon series has been on the air since 1989, and reportedly may be thinking of the Duchess for a cameo appearance.
Harry has been tasked with getting Meghan Markle important work
“I hear she wants to do voiceover work,” Jean said. After Harry’s disastrous red carpet pitching of his wife for voice-overs with Disney CEO Bob Iger, the whole world now knows that Meghan would love to lend her vocal talents to Hollywood.
Not too long after Harry was caught asking for work for his wife from one of the most powerful men in the entertainment industry, it was reported that Meghan had scored what she wanted after a bit of bartering.
Apparently Meghan and Harry already had connections to Disney, including their regal presence at the European premiere of the Lion King in July 2019.
According to Jean, “We’ve talked about Harry and Meghan,” and suggested that Meghan should, “Give him a call,” about the idea.
So, for the moment it would appear that lucky Meghan is being asked to put herself out there and call about a possible job opportunity—it sounds promising already!
Over the years the long-running show The Simpsons has landed a diverse cast of voice talent and featured well-known stars as guests.

Meghan Markle and Harry’s New Direction
Their new direction comes after abandoning the UK for the glammer shores of Canada.
See, that didn’t take long at all for the Suits star to pick up right where she left off. The Simpsons actress Yeardley Smith, who voices Lisa Simpson, would like to see climate activist Greta Thunberg take on a guest role. If so, Harry could also join in and they could have a laugh over how Russian pranksters fooled him into thinking he was talking to Greta!
Prior to their coming to Canada Prince Harry and Meghan announced their exit from the royal family on Instagram in January.
The exit, immediately termed Meagxit as it was happening alongside Brexit, stunned royal loyalists worldwide. No one had ever quite done what these two attempted to do, and with such a lack of aplomb to boot.
