Meghan Markle, Prince Harry – Succeed Or Fail In Healing Royal Rift?

The Duchess of Sussex and Duke of Sussex recently developed what they thought would turn into the perfect opportunity to get the royal family to forgive and forget their exit. And it involved Meghan and Harry surprising Queen Elizabeth with a short visit. However, a royal family insider told Us magazine that the scheme didn’t turn out as planned.

“I’d say the rift very definitely hasn’t been healed,” summed up royal family expert Richard Fitzwilliams. “That, I’m afraid, is quite clear.” What also became clear: That visit resulted from Meghan and Harry already traveling to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands. As a result, it looked like the Duchess and Duke of Sussex felt the Queen deserved only a quick detour rather than a formal visit just for her.

However, an insider claimed that Meghan and Harry felt “very excited” to meet with the Queen again. And the visit did result in a significant milestone. It symbolized the actress and her husband’s very first visit to the UK since quitting their official royal family duties in March 2020.

Meghan Markle – Faces ‘Extraordinary’ Royal Family Challenge

As a result of all the statements that the Duchess of Sussex has made about the royal family, she must do more than drop in to see the Queen, say insiders. For instance, royal family expert Fitzwilliams thinks that both Meghan and Harry must look at what lies ahead to heal the rift. “It really is an extraordinary situation,” he admitted.

However, the Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Sussex will get a new opportunity to heal the situation in June. And that will come when the couple head to England again to participate in Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. That event honors the Queen for ruling the throne for 70 years.

During the events, which last for four days, a parade called Trooping The Color will celebrate the Queen’s birthday. And the next day, St. Paul’s Cathedral will offer a service of Thanksgiving for the Queen. A spokesperson for Meghan and Harry called the couple “excited and honored” to attend the events in June with their children.

Who knows , The Royal Family are entitled to privacy just as we are ,instead of the world and his wife prying.
Harry has made his decision which includes his wife and children. They decided to go to the USA and now there is speculation they are coming back to work part time. Have they given any thought to their children’s education and how it will affect them ? Harry has had a very privileged life and he has cut the ties. It will do him good to see how the other half live now.
I would think that our beloved Queen will still love him, who can forget her trying to protect them when their Mother died?
We can only guess what the rest of the family think, but priority must be given to our Queen who is still mourning her devoted husband of 74 years, the country is going to celebrate with her 70 years as Queen . I remember the Coronation and all the celebrations which will be I am sure shown for us all to see on much bigger screens that the 12 inch ones of 1953.
The words of our National Anthem say it all.
    God, save our gracious Queen,
    Long live our noble Queen,
    God save our Queen,
    Send her victorious
    Happy and Glorious
    Long to reign over us
    God save our Queen.
