Does the United States need a “satellite royal family” who resides in a California mansion? That’s reportedly what Meghan and Harry hope as they plan their new brand for the New Year. Get all the royal details below.
Learn Meghan Markle’s And Prince Harry’s Royal Brand Plan
New Year, new brand. That’s what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry see in their future for 2022, claims royal family expert Duncan Larcombe per the International News. And Larcombe elaborated on their rumored re-branding scheme.
“What we’re seeing are increasing signs that Harry and Meghan are setting themselves up almost as a satellite Royal Family in America,” stated the royal family expert. As a result, Larcombe believes the Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Sussex will re-create their image through ongoing efforts in 2022. One key question involves whether Harry could expand that goal by traveling with his brother Prince William on an official royal tour.
“As things stand, there’s no way on earth that Prince William would want to share any part of an official royal tour,” insisted Larcombe. And his reasons relate to the alleged feud between the brothers. Adding Prince Harry to such a tour would mean William would need to agree that his brother could adequately represent “the Queen, Britain and the Commonwealth.”
Royal Fabulous Four To Tour United States In New Year?
But if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do want to establish themselves as a satellite royal family in the United States, another possibility exists. Larcombe also pointed to the possibility that Prince William and Kate Middleton might travel to the U.S. and tour key cities like New York City and Los Angeles. Could Meghan and Harry join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in a fabulous four tour? Well, maybe.
The royal family expert does predict that William and Kate will inevitably make a trip to America. “They’re our closest ally, but it’s tricky,” he noted. “What, we’re being told by palace officials, won’t happen, is for Harry and Meghan to join William and Kate for any official part of this visit.”
Unofficially, though, either the Duchess of Cambridge or Duke of Cambridge might offer an olive branch to Meghan and Harry. But such a peace offering would likely not occur in public, theorizes Larcombe.
“We don’t know the details of the trip yet but last time William and Kate went to America, they went to a red carpet event with rising stars of British film in LA,” he noted. “Even if there’s an event arranged in LA this time, I’m told that Harry and Meghan wouldn’t be a part of it unless they were invited separately and privately.”
While a televised or photographed reunion of the fabulous four seems unlikely, that private invitation could still occur. And that could help boost Meghan’s and Harry’s chances of becoming viewed as the U.S. Satellite Royal Family. What do you think?
