When Meghan Markle was launching her lifestyle brand, As Ever, she took care to announce that she will be embarking on this journey with the backing of her creative partner, Netflix.

As if to reaffirm this, the launch of the brand coincided with the release of the first season of her Netflix cooking show, ‘With Love, Meghan.’

Even though Netflix declined to host any premieres on behalf of the Duchess’s new show, the show itself showed that Netflix was willing to back her venture into the business world.

A couple of jams, wines and royal scented candles later, and it may have just become clear that Netflix isn’t fully immersed in the game.

Netflix To Launch New Store That Seemingly Won’t Stock Meghan Markle’s As Ever Offerings

On December 11, Netflix will launch a new commercial store that will give guests interactive experiences, games and themed food and drinks for hit shows such as ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Squid Game.’

Even though “themed food and drinks” is part of the description, nothing from Meghan Markle’s As Ever line made it into the list. The Dallas, Texas store will stock products and merchandise featured on some of their most successful programmes.

Speaking of “most successful programmes,” both seasons of Meghan Markle’s ‘With Love, Meghan’ have failed to perform well, with the first season ranking at 383 of Netflix’s most watched shows after accumulating just 5.3 million views worldwide.

Even though many have rushed to call the whole Netflix setup a snub to the former actress, a source close to her has claimed that it’s really not as big of a deal as most people are making it seem.

What We Know About Meghan Markle’s Upcoming ‘With Love, Meghan’ Christmas Special

However, Meghan Markle is not done yet when it comes to becoming our next lovable TV chef.

This December will see her return with a Christmas special tied to her show, and even though a third season is yet to be announced, Meghan is reportedly not looking forward to having the special as her last hurrah.

The happy thing then is that the special will not only see her flaunt her cooking and hosting skills, but will also see her razzle-dazzle us with her gift wrapping skills.
