There’s a good reason why both fans and critics haven’t heard from Meghan Markle in a very long time. That’s because she doesn’t have anything on her plate these days – and that of course is not a good thing at all. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Tom Bower, a royal expert who often has something or another to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on almost a daily basis, told Closer magazine one of the reasons why the Duchess of Sussex is so quiet these days is because no one wants to work with her.

She lost multiple lucrative contracts last year and because of all the negativity surrounding the Sussexes these days, big name corporations are keeping their distance from the couple.

Bower says, “What’s interesting is most of last year she’s been pretty quiet – especially during Harry’s book launch. She was clearly building up to something but she couldn’t land it. She couldn’t land the big fish.”

However, during the Variety’s Power of Women event in 2023, Meghan hinted that there were big things to come for her and her charitable organization, Archewell.

She said, “We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them. We’re just really proud of what we’re creating, and my husband is loving it too.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?

Throughout the last month Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have mostly kept to themselves at home in Montecito.

They haven’t made any public appearances, nor have their been any reports about their next move. There also doesn’t seem to be any big announcements on the way.

Clearly, both Meghan and Harry are going to have to regroup and maybe even recharge if they want 2024 to be better than 2023. Until then though, things are going to be rather quiet for them.
