Meghan Markle Scandal: New Brand Hit Again, BANNED From Selling Clothes

Meghan Markle Scandal: New Brand Hit Again, BANNED From Selling ClothesBritish royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle is in a jam following a five-year string of failures, the latest being her American Riviera Orchard fruit preserves.
Instead of ARO, Meghan is now going with something called As Ever. Except that there’s still no jam, dog collars, friendship bracelets, etc. to sell. And that’s just one of her problems.

According to RadarOnline.com, using the moniker As Ever has “only opened her up to new copyright violation allegations.” Here’s what to know about Duchess Difficult’s lousy track record.

American Riviera Orchard Devolves Into As Ever

Markle explained in an Instagram video why she changed the name: “essentially means as it’s always been, and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with (blog) The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening – this is what I do.”

Think about that. In 2018 Meghan married into THE royal family, was on the princess track, and had unlimited exposure and funds. In 2025 she’s back to The Tig. Let that level of incompetence sink in.

According to Markle the name change was her idea, since ARO limited her to the Montecito ‘hood. With Was Never, the world is her oyster.

Meghan and Her Tall Tales

Except that no one believes Meghan’s version of events. A source told Women’s Day outright that Meghan had no choice but to capitulate: “The trademark issues were turning it into a costly legal nightmare.” That’s because plenty of other businesses used the same or similar brand words.

The As Ever moniker has also been hit with trademark issues. Until she is forced to change names again, the rebrand sticks, a supposed deal with Netflix which may air her cooking show, With Love, Meghan in March.

As part of the deal, “The As Ever products will be featured in Netflix pop-up stores, which insiders say was another move Markle was not happy about.”

The source stated that the idea of being forced to sell her jam at malls in Dallas and Philadelphia is beneath her. But what else can she do for money?

Markle Doesn’t Like Being Malled

RadarOnline.com now throws Meghan’s business empire in doubt because, among other companies, her As Ever name is used by a Chinese “fast fashion” outfit as well as a New York-based clothing company belonging to Mark Kolski.

Kolski has hit back at the duchess, saying that his livelihood is now at risk: “I’m a very small business, it’s a family-run operation. I’m essentially a one-man band. This new venture has the power and money of Netflix behind it. Even if I wanted to do something I don’t think I have the behemoth of lawyers and money that are behind this.”

Tell us royal fans, do you think that Meghan should bow down to Kolski and others who have been using the name As Ever for years? Or is he just more collateral damage in her bid to build an empire?
