Meghan Markle Set To Get Huge Honor From Queen Elizabeth This Summer

It looks like this is going to be a summer that Meghan Markle will remember. There’s a new report that the Duchess of Sussex will be presented with a huge honor from Queen Elizabeth on her 38thbirthday. Here’s what you need to know.

Reports say that even though she’s currently on her maternity leave, Meghan Markle has been invited by Queen Elizabeth to visit Balmoral Estate in Scotland for a few days to help celebrate her 38thbirthday. How exciting! Balmoral Estate has been the Queen’s favorite vacation spot for many years, so it’s a pretty big deal for her to invite Meghan Markle.

As many royal fans know, Prince Harry’s wife will be turning 38 on August 4th. While the Sussexes haven’t made any reports about the trip, there’s a good chance that Prince Harry and little Archie Harrison will come along for the ride to Scotland, too. This will be in fact Archie’s first trip away from home, too. The little tot was born back on May 6thand has been at Harry and Meghan’s home in Frogmore Cottage since then.

Apparently, Meghan Markle gets along pretty well with both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. This is going to be a pretty special and if not also a significant trip for the Sussex family, as it will give them an opportunity to grow even closer to the Queen.

A royal source told The Sun, “The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days. It is testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honor.”

Meghan Markle was also on hand for the Queen’s birthday celebrations at Trooping the Colour last weekend in London. It was her first public appearance in about a month and since she gave birth to Archie. The Duchess of Sussex is expected to continue her maternity leave well into the summer as she has no engagements scheduled until later this year.
