Meghan Markle Takes Dog To Farmer’s Market
Perhaps seeking a diversion after failing to get a coveted Emmy Award nomination, Meghan Markle headed to the Montecito Farmer’s Market. However, the Duchess of Sussex decided to shop without hubby Prince Harry.
But ignoring the market’s ban on dogs, Meghan did take her pet beagle along, according to the Daily Mail.

And the 41-year-old’s security team also followed her around the Farmer’s Market as she looked through the stands. With her little dog trotting along, Meghan purchased some fresh flowers. And she also tried a sample of honey. The market takes place near the Duchess and Duke of Sussex’s $14.7 million mansion.
Markle looked chic in a white shirt, maxi dress, and sunglasses as she browsed. And she used her big woven straw tote to carry the items that she purchased. At one point, Meghan’s security guard took charge of her dog so that she could shop more easily.
Duchess Of Sussex Stages Farmer’s Market Pics?
However, Meghan sparked accusations of staging those pics from the Farmer’s Market. For instance, some thought that she told paparazzi about her plans. And others even believed that Markle timed her release of the pics in order to try to steal the spotlight from Kate Middleton’s Wimbledon appearance.

For example, one Reddit commentator threw shade by writing sarcastically, “It’s amazing how many paparazzi are hanging around random farmer’s market, just waiting to stumble across ‘famous’ people.” And several slammed Meghan for ignoring the rules about dogs and taking her beagle with her.
“Typical Meghan, ignoring the rules and doing as she pleases,” wrote one critic about Markle’s puppy companion. And another mocked the Duchess, posting, “MM pretending to be Marie Antoinette cosplaying a milk maid?! Only in this case, dog loving young mother buying organic, locally sourced produce to feed her family. Every time I see MM with an outsized bag, I wonder if she thinks she’s going to load up on freebies. Who knows if there’s a shoe stall at that particular Farmer’s Market? (Butch’s Wagyu and Sandals.) “
