As many royal fans can recall, the Prince Of Wales was quite upset when he realized that his brother Prince Harry was more popular in Africa than he was and that’s why he wanted him to do less charity work in the continent. Royal Family News – Meghan Markle ‘Steals’ Africa From Prince William
Did Meghan Markle just get her revenge on Prince William by supposedly ‘stealing’ Africa away from him? That’s what many royal fans can’t help but wonder out there.
While it was Prince William who always wanted to be seen as the face of the royal family for Africans everywhere, it looks like Meghan Markle has managed to do that on her own, instead.
While at an event in Nigeria this weekend, the Duchess of Sussex even said, “I want to start by saying thank you very much for just how gracious you’ve all been in welcoming my husband and I to this country… my country,” while also adding, “’I am just flattered and honored and inspired. It has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we arrived, and I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more color, so I can fit in with all of you and your incredible fashion.”
Royal Family News – What’s Next For Meghan Markle?
Of course, the last thing that Prince William wants to hear Meghan Markle is to call any African country “her country” but that’s exactly what she did.
He has every right to feel outraged over it, especially since he’s tried so hard to make his own mark on the continent, and yet Nigerians are embracing her like she’s the next queen of England.
So far Prince William himself has not made any comments about the matter.

How silly. Meghan Markle is not in a position to “steal” anything from the Royal Family. This is all pure social media buzz, amounting to nothing but gossip. I’m sure the good people of Nigeria would love anyone who said they were 43% Nigerian. Glad she had a good time, but in the long run, she is a footnote to history.
