Meghan Markle Talks About Losing Her Second Child
As many of our readers can recall, Meghan did reveal that she had suffered a miscarriage during the summer of 2020. However, she hasn’t spoken about the ordeal until now.
During her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan talked about her family life with Girls Who Code founder, Resham Saujani. She also opened up about what went through her mind after she lost her second child.
Meghan said, “I’ve spoken about the miscarriage that we experienced.”
“And I think in some parallel way, when you have to learn to detach from the thing that you have so much promise and hope for, and to be able to be okay at a certain point, to let something go, something go that you planned to love for a long time.”
During her podcast, Meghan also opened up about how much she loves to do the simple things in her life like cuddle with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet at home.
What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?
Meghan gave birth to Archie in London in 2019 and against to Lilibet in California in June 2021. The royal couple have been very careful about keeping their children’s privacy as private as possible from the public. As of press time, they are yet to fully show their faces on social media.
Meghan continued, “love being a mum so much, it’s my favorite thing.”
“My husband is like, ‘My love, can you just give yourself a minute? Why don’t you take a bath? Why don’t you go workout?’ I’m like, ‘I know but I just want a cuddle.’”
