Meghan Markle Thinks Her Royal Connection Is Hurting Her
Even though it’s been three years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cut the cord on their working relationship with the royal family, they have still held on to their royal titles.
Some people think it’s their way of being ‘royals’ in America, but Harry himself said that it doesn’t really matter if they hold on to them or not. Yet, his wife is still calling herself Duchess Meghan even though she refuses to even set foot in the UK.
Well, it seems like Meghan might have changed her mind over it all as she sees there’s absolutely no value in holding on to her royal title and especially in this new phase of her life.
What’s more, there are some royal critics out there who think that she and Harry should just officially renounce their titles especially since they have no plans to ever return to the royal fold.

Meghan Markle Doesn’t Want To Be A Duchess Anymore
Pauline Maclaran, Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research at Royal Holloway even suggested that it would be a good move for Meghan to announce that she’s ditching her title altogether.
In an interview with The Express, she said, “[Meghan and Harry] should try and leave the royal image behind altogether. It doesn’t do them any favors. To retain their titles doesn’t sit well with a lot of people, especially in the US where their royal titles mean nothing to people. They represent a hierarchy the US has left behind.”
Maclaren went on to say that Harry and Meghan should just rebrand themselves as a famous couple, just like David and Victoria Beckham have.

She explained, ““I don’t think we’ve seen the end of Meghan and Harry as a brand. There’s no reason why they can’t have a joint brand strategy.”
So far both Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the matter.

The Royals are not what is hurting her, it is her lack of honesty, lack of courtesy/respect to the RF, bad manners and just a lack of decorum that a woman of her age should have.
