It’s also because she thought they were a ‘strange’ family as well. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Thought The Royal Family Was ‘Strange’
While there’s no doubt that Meghan was raised differently than her husband Prince Harry was, she wasn’t prepared to see just how different the royals were compared to anyone else she’s ever known in her life.
As much as Meghan loved Prince Harry, there was just no way that she was going to extend any love to his family members. She just didn’t get their dynamic and oftentimes thought that they behaved rather cold behind closed palace doors as well.
For the Duchess of Sussex, it was not only bizarre, but also very frustrating as she felt early on that there was no way she would ever call Harry’s family her own. She didn’t fit in and apparently she didn’t want to fit in, either. But the moment that she became one of them, it was hard for her to get out.
Tom Quinn, who often has something or another to say about the royal family on almost a daily basis, recently put it this way: “When Meghan discovered that Harry was only worth about £20 million, what ended up happening is that she realised she needed to reassess other assumptions she’d made about this strange new family.”

Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Didn’t Understand The Family Dynamic
“Harry, it seemed, had spent little time explaining exactly how strange and demanding his family really are.”
Quinn also added it was true that “having everything done for you throughout your life by staff gives you a complacent air, something several of Harry’s former Kensington Palace advisers have noted.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet.
