For those hoping for a Markle family reunion, you might not want to hold your breath for very long. That’s because there’s a good chance that it won’t happen.
There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle has absolutely no desire to ever reach out to her father, Thomas Markle, ever again. That also means the window of opportunity for him to meet his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, has closed.

One source close to the situation says that the Duchess of Sussex wants absolutely nothing to do with her father Thomas Markle even though he’s been pushing to see her family for years now and has even stated so in multiple interviews.
The insider said, “Meghan still has no contact with her dad. She does not plan on having a relationship with him, and he has not met his grandkids. That ship has sailed.”
One of the reasons why Meghan has no desire to reconnect wit her family is because she already has her mother, Doria Ragland, and her tight group of girlfriends by her side.
The tipster even put it this way, “Meghan has a great group of friends who are all successful in their own ways who she really trusts.”
Apparently, the Duchess has also become very close with neighbor and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, and a second source says she’s tight with entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, cofounder of IT Cosmetics.”

Now, whether or not Meghan Markle will ever change her mind about her father remains to be seen but for now it seems like her answer is a hard no. But even with that said, it probably won’t stop her father Thomas Markle from talking to the media about his side of the story.
Thomas has stated multiple times that he still wants to meet his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.
