Suits Reunion To Star Meghan Markle?
Will the Duchess of Sussex participate in the Suits reunion at the ATX TV Festival? The festival organizers just revealed via the Post that the cast and creator of the legal drama will gather for a five-year anniversary panel.
However, at this time, the festival named creator and show-runner Aaron Korsh as well as cast members Sarah Rafferty, Patrick J. Adams and Dulé Hill among the participants. But speculation soared about Meghan Markle when the announcement promised “more to be announced in the coming months.”
Before Meghan tied the knot with Prince Harry, the 42-year-old starred on Suits as a paralegal who became a lawyer Rachel Zane. \

And the legal drama aired on the USA network for nine seasons from 2011 until 2019. Taking place at a fictional NYC law firm, Suits features Mike Ross (Adams). But though Ross never went to law school, he manages to get a job as an associate for attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).
Suits Creator Discusses Popularity
But the Duchess of Sussex met and married Prince Harry near the end of Suits. And after exiting in 2017, Meghan did not appear in the series finale. However, when Suits landed on Netflix, it surged in popularity.
And Suits achieved 3.1 billion viewing minutes in its first week on Netflix and Peacock, with 3.7 billion viewing minutes the next week. But Suits creator Aaron Korsh called the popularity a “multi-tiered effect.”

And he explained that teenagers “started watching the series — and now all their friends are addicted to it … like seniors in high school and freshmen in college. Somehow it got hot on TikTok,” added Korsh. “And then, when it got on Netflix, they will suggest/push a show on you and that was a huge thing.”
But he also opined that the public’s interest in Meghan helped with the boost in popularity. “And, obviously, there’s some component of people being fascinated to see what Meghan was like before she was married to Harry,” he said. “Look, I love the fact that Meghan is now helping us. I think she did an amazing job on the show and I love that people can see her.”
However, Korsh doesn’t believe Meghan deserves full credit for Suits’ popularity. And he explained, “The reason I don’t think that’s the only reason [for the viewership spike] is that she’s been married to Harry for many years and ‘Suits’ has been out there for many years — and, for whatever reason, people started watching it this summer.”
Meghan Markle Boasts About Suits
But the Duchess of Sussex seemed to credit herself for the show’s popularity. And she gushed about Suits, “Isn’t that wild? It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time.”
But then she boasted about her own appearance. “I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit.” And Meghan couldn’t resist adding her husband to her gushy commentary on Suits’ popularity. “My husband is loving it, too,” announced Meghan about Harry. “It’s really fun.”

MM needs to get over herself, she was never the reason people faithfully watched “Suits” every week, it was because of the Lead players…Macht and Torres to name just two! It was an ‘exciting grand soap opera’ that my friends and I loved! It is said, MM was non-essential #6 in the cast. Her character was as pathetic young girl, whose life was a drama, such as issues with her Father. She was promoted when the Mike Ross character decided to move on! Enter Rachel and Mike getting married to create an acceptable exit. The Rachel character wasn’t an important character, ever. Mike was a great loss.
I watched Suites when it first aired and I loved it. The writing on the show was really good. Meghan Markle was never a reason for watching the show.
Maybe to steal, they are not going there for fun. But to take. And cause trouble.
I loved Suites it really needed only 4 people, the actors Harvey, Donna, Jessica, and Mike. Everyone else could have beenon one or two shows and gone. I really disliked it when to many people were added, it ruined it,Ms Markle did nothing for the show, except ruin it.
Suits was popular because of Harvey Spector(Gabriel Macht) and Patrick J Adams) Mike Ross. They were appealing! Also the real reason the show was a success is the great writing!
