Meghan Markle Trying To Look Like Victoria Beckham—Is She Doing a Good Enough Job?

British royal family news reveals that on Friday May 9, Meghan Markle and her second husband, Prince Dirty Harry, attended Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter concert in LA. They made a spectacle of themselves trying to get some good PR pics, but alas, they were not able to get within a country mile of Bey.

Fans noticed however that Meghan was in tune with another female goddess, Victoria Beckham, wife of retired soccer legend David Beckham. Keep reading to find out how Walmart Wallis copied Beckham’s sense of style!

Victoria Beckham’s Design Roots

Meghan was decked out in a navy blue slip-dress type of sheath, just like the kind Victoria favors. Victoria has her own fashion line and it could be that Meghan’s dress is a Victoria Beckham original.

Over the years it’s been noted that the two women have a strikingly similar fashion sense, and they share another trait that we’ll get to in a moment!

The Queen Bey concert is not the first time that fans have caught Meghan stealing Victoria’s lewk.

Meghan’s red carpet fit for the 2023 Variety Power of Women event in Los Angeles saw her dressed in a dramatic, off-the-shoulder Proenza Schouler dress remarkably similar to a dress that was featured on the Victoria Beckham runway a few years prior.

Victoria and Meghan Favor Pants Suits

The Daily Mail notes that the former Spice girl and the Former Briefcase Girl also have plenty of pantsuits in their closets. At the 2022 Invictus Games Meghan wore a white suit by Valentino, and in 2021 she was snapped wearing a navy suit that featured Emporio Armani pants.

Soon afterward, Victoria was seen in a similar outfit, albeit one from her collection.

Another example of fashion twinning occurred in 2023 when the ladies both wore camel-colored pants with a high-rise belted waist.

Meghan’s Bunion Problems

The duchess and the Spice girl also share a common foot ailment: bunions. The outlet notes that during an official ceremony in Rotorua, New Zealand, Meghan was forced to remove her shoes and what fans saw was a bulging bunion on her right foot plus a possible scar from previous surgery on her left hoof.

At the time, podiatrist Robert Duff told Femail “On the right foot, there appears to be a bunion and some exostosis, or bony growth” while podiatrist Robert Duff stated that high heels “can definitely lead to the development of bunions.”

Victoria has been open about her love of stilettos while Meghan has been seen in sandals as well as heels throughout her life journey with Prince Harry.
