This latest tidbit comes courtesy of her soulmate and biographer Omid Scobie. He’s the one who was picked by her to write the definitive story of her real-life and he has not stopped gushing about his princess since their book came out on August 11. When does he sleep?
At Least One Of The Writers Of The Tell-All Book That Details Megxit Has Been More Than Happy To Talk About Harry And Especially Meghan
According to Scobie, Mrs. Harry broke down and gave a tearful final farewell speech to the palace staff (the same ones she called vipers in her bio?) before she flew her private broom back to the country that refused to pay her security costs, aka Canada.
According to the chatty Scobie, Meghan took the time to personally comfort her aides and was visibly emotional during her final hours as a princess—remember she is an actress, folks.
Meghan Turned On The Waterworks Before Leaving The UK
In Finding Freedom Scobie was paid to write that Meghan said the following fateful words to palace staff: “It didn’t have to be this way.”
He also wrote, “Staff who had been with the couple from day one were mourning the end of what was supposed to be a happy story: two people fall in love, get married, have a baby, serve the Queen, the end. Instead, they were leaving the country.”
But wait, he goes on, “As Meghan gave a final hug goodbye, she said, ‘It didn’t have to be this way.’” I need a tissue, how about you?
Scobie has told this sob story before, telling Harper’s Bazaar, “tears that the Duchess had been bravely holding back [were] free to flow among familiar faces.”
But Meghan’s true colors were on display when she reportedly, again “tearfully,” told her friend, “I gave up my entire life for this family” and claimed she, “was willing to do whatever it takes.”
The only thing Scobie didn’t report was the flavor of cake and ice cream the vipers ate once Meghan was in the air.
