Will she stay, or will she go? That’s what a lot of royalists can’t help but wonder when it comes to Meghan Markle. That’s because there’s a new report that suggests the Duchess of Sussex is being urged to disappear after dealing with one of the biggest disasters of her professional career.

Cookie Queens, a documentary that was backed by Meghan Markle, failed to make much of an impact in the box office. In fact, the film only made $350,000 during its first week and a total of $601,000 altogether.

And for a lot of critics, they think this is rather shameful, seeing how Meghan Markle is supposedly a big household name. But if she can’t help a film like this, then clearly she doesn’t have the kind of celebrity pull she once did.

And now critics say that Meghan should just stay off the radar for some time because clearly what she’s doing just isn’t working.

Royalist Kinsey Schofield sure has had a lot to say about the matter and even commented with, “Reputation recovery is possible, but I don’t think it comes from another rebrand or another glossy publicity campaign.”

What’s Next For Meghan Markle?

“I would recommend the opposite. Less talking, fewer announcements and more execution. Success is one of the most effective reputation-management strategies in Hollywood. Make something undeniable and suddenly the conversation changes.”

Schofield continued, “When you try to establish authority in every category simultaneously, you can end up establishing authority in none of them. Pick a lane, become good at it and allow success to rebuild credibility. They need to stop treating their celebrity as the product and start creating products strong enough to survive without their celebrity.”

Now, whether or not she’s actually going to do this, remains to be seen. If there’s anything that we’ve learned about the Duchess of Sussex over the years, it’s that she can certainly be very resilient, and especially when she’s forced to face the huge amount of criticism she’s dealt with in the last several years.

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although at this point, it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
