Meghan Markle Wants To Be Paid For Her Royal Duties

It’s not that she wants one foot in and one foot out. Instead, she wants both feet in and she also wants a paycheck for it.

There’s a new report that suggests the duchess of Sussex will wants to be a part of the royal lifestyle but also wants to get paid for all of her royal engagements and royal duties. Otherwise, she sees no point in it. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Apparently, Meghan misses her royal duties. At least, that’s what royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes as both the Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry have been enjoying themselves during their quasi-royal tour in Colombia.

They like the attention and all of the publicity they are getting for their trip, which is something that Meghan has enjoyed while she was still a royal, too. However, she also wans to cash in a paycheck for her work, too.

Larcombe even put it this way, “For a couple that deliberately turned their back on full-time royal life and what that entails, Harry and Meghan seem to be doing exactly what royals do.””

“The trip to Colombia is a classic tour that they might have been expected to undertake if they’d stayed in Britain all along. The tour they did in Nigeria, exactly the same – it was a royal tour in every way but name.”

Larcombe continued, “They said they couldn’t stand the life, they didn’t like the institution – but the actual work of being a royal is something Meghan – and Harry – clearly yearn for.”

“Meghan misses being the centre of attention, where she is able to do high-profile royal jobs, like her tour of Australia and her trip to South Africa.”

“That had given her a taste of what royal life could have been like.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space.
