Meghan Markle Wants To Make Millions As ‘Queen Of Hollywood’

Royal family news reveals Meghan Markle determined to turn into a Hollywood power player. And part of that goal involves escaping from hubby Prince Harry’s spotlight. But Meghan recently took the first step on her path to Tinseltown’s queen by inking a solo deal with a famous Hollywood agent.

Meghan Markle Wants ‘Queen Of Hollywood’ Title

The Duchess of Sussex also sees herself as Queen Of Hollywood, according to insiders. And to add diamonds to that crown, Meghan Markle found a deal that could turn her into a Tinseltown power player. That deal went public as Meghan signed with famous Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel’s WME, said insiders via Page Six.

And at 41, Markle anticipates making millions from her new contract. But although the Duchess of Sussex allowed the deal to go public now, she has planned it for months, say insiders. And it will make her a power in her own right, completely separate from hubby Prince Harry’s royal spotlight.

“This deal is about making Meghan a power player in Hollywood,” explained one insider. But despite rumors, Markle did not sign with an agent to return to her acting career. And the source clarified, “Even though she is, of course, an actress, this isn’t about movies or shows for Meghan to star in, it is about creating projects for her to produce. She wants to run the show.”

Meghan Markle Needs ‘A Way To Make Money’

However, one insider shared that the Duchess of Sussex didn’t just make the deal to get power. And together, Meghan and Harry, 38, struggle financially. Because of the costs to run their $14.5 million estate in Montecito, California, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex need more business opportunities. For instance, their expenses include private security at $2 million a year. 

Recently, Meghan and Harry have traveled from that expensive mansion to Hollywood more frequently. And they continue to work on their five-year deal with Netflix, valued at $100 million. Meghan also reportedly will bring back her Archetypes podcast for a second season. 

However, Markle also wants to escape from the royal drama. And that drama seemed to reach new heights over her father-in-law King Charles’ coronation. As a result, Meghan reportedly thought it seemed wisest to remain at home. And hubby Harry will stay there for just a day. 

But overall, Markle sought that deal to make the most of her fame and achieve more fortune. “As Meghan has herself said, she’s moved on, she’s living in the present,” said one insider. “And she’s going to explore her life with the freedoms that her new life affords her. She has a lot of business ideas, she considers herself an entrepreneur, and now there’s a machine behind her to support those ideas.”

Insiders compared Meghan to former First Lady Michelle Obama. The former First Lady also works on her own projects and uses the CAA agency in Hollywood. And as with Obama, agents will guide Meghan into appropriate projects.
