The Duchess of Sussex recently stepped out on the red carpet for a special event. But Meghan Markle noticeably revealed her weight loss in a one-shoulder beige gown, noted Yahoo.

Posing for photographers at Variety’s Power of Women event this month, Meghan flaunted her weight loss in a tan dress with a single shoulder and leg slits. However, with her hair pulled back into a bun, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, looked gaunt.

But Meghan gushed about how her show Suits had become so popular. And she exclaimed, “Isn’t that wild? It’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting,” boasted the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan Markle – Sparks Backlash For Weight Loss And Ego

However, the continuing slim-down of the Duchess along with her egotistical comments sparked a backlash. For instance, one fan wrote, “Like she even needed to lose any weight. Before long she’ll wind up a walking skeleton. And she was NEVER THE star of Suits.”

But the fan noted that Meghan participated in Suits as “part of an ensemble cast & only in a supporting role. Nothing she’s ever “acted” in has she ever been the star of,” added the critic. And “she’ll probably never be the A-list actress she’s hoping to be.”

And another responded to photo captions describing the Duchess of Sussex as wearing a “stunning” dress. But the critic asserted, “That dress is not stunning. It looks like it is falling off her.”

Meghan Markle – Makes ‘Fool Of Herself’

However, the dress came in for its own share of controversy. For instance, one observer wrote, “Not a one-shoulder dress; she just dropped the sleeve down her shoulder. And she did not “stun” that night. She made a fool of herself by refusing to leave the red carpet when directed to. They practically had to push her off to make way for the next person.”

Some described Meghan as appearing both tacky and sloppy. For example, one wrote, “Notice the center seam is not in the center, and it hangs like a rag under that bare shoulder. Meg being braless adds tacky to the already sloppy look.”

And several felt that the Duchess of Sussex took her weight loss too far. As a result, Meghan’s slim-down makes her look noticeably older, claim some critics. And others suspect that the diet drug Ozempic resulted in her sudden weight loss.
