British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle launched a new podcast last week, “Confessions of a Female Founder.” The podcast hosts women business founders, and perhaps Meghan will take notes.
Like everything Meghan touches, this latest project is also designed to lead “to insight into Meghan’s own life.”
Here’s what fans have learned about the woman who trashed the royal family to Ozemprah while Prince Philip was on his deathbed.
With Love, Meghan
In her podcast’s debut Meghan spilled some tea in the episode “The Evolution of the Entrepreneur with Bumble’s Whitney Wolfe Herd” which premiered on April 8, 2025. To put it kindly, if this episode is any indication we will hear much more about Meghan than any of her guests.
Let’s start with Meghan Markle deciding to talk about childbirth instead of listening to her talk about her business.
According to Grifter, she had a major health scare while pregnant. How this relates to her guest’s expectation of talking about female entrepreneurship is anyone’s guess.
Meghan Hogged the Airtime From Podcast Guest
Nonetheless, Herd was game and she shared that she also had postpartum preeclampsia. Let’s stop a moment to address the elephant in the room: that Meghan stands accused of using surrogates and not telling anyone.
For those unfamiliar, postpartum preeclampsia happens a few days to weeks after delivery. If left untreated, the complications can be serious. In Meghan’s words “It’s so rare and so scary.”
Meghan added “You’re still trying to juggle all of these things, and the world doesn’t know what’s happening quietly and in the quiet, you’re still trying to show up for people — mostly for your children — but those things are huge medical scares.”
Harry’s son Archie is five years old, and daughter Lilibet is three; Meghan did not say when she had her health scare. Tell us royal fans, does this sound like a Princess Pinocchio moment to you?
Meghan’s Life as a Businesswoman
Meghan Markle recently launched her latest brand, “As Ever” selling crepe mix and runny jam. No one seemed to like either if social media is any indicator.
Once again talking about herself, Meghan told her guest that being a business owner can be taxing: “Launching a business, it can be so overwhelming.”
She kept on talking about herself, noting that “For example, a month ago, I was absolutely consumed with packaging.”
There’s a good reason for that: Meghan screwed up her packaging with a name she had no right to use according to the US Patent Office.
That meant she had to change her business name American Riviera Orchard to As ever within days of the product launch. For a better insight into this disaster, Netflix employees said they are “so over” the Discount Duchess, and judging by Meghan’s sales and ratings, so is everyone else.
