That’s what a lot of royal fans are asking themselves this week as the Duchess of Sussex is celebrating one success after another. As a matter of fact, the Duchess even has a new title: best-selling author, as her new charity cookbook has quickly topped the charts at number one!
Meghan, who married Prince Harry in a lavish ceremony back in May, recently debuted her new cookbook named Together: Our Community Cookbook to help support those affected by the devastating Grenfell Tower fires from last year. The book has sold an amazing 11.000 copies in the U.K. in the first week of its release.”I have a lifelong interest in the story of food—where it comes from, why we embrace it, and how it brings us together: the universal connection to community through the breaking of bread,” she explains.

If that weren’t enough, the cookbook is also a huge hit Stateside too, as it is currently number six on the Amazon most-sold books in the U.S. In other words, Meghan Markle mania is still going strong on both sides of the pond!
Meghan also said in the book, “Within this kitchen’s walls, there exists not only the communal bond of togetherness through sharing food, but also a cultural diversity that creates what I would describe as a passport on a plate: the power of a meal to take you to places you’ve never been, or transport you right back to where you came from.”
Meghan along with her husband Prince Harry and her mother Doria Ragland, hosted a special party at Kensington Palace to help launch the book the past week. During the party the Duchess gave a very inspiring speech about the cookbook and helping women rebuild their lives.
