Royal Expert: Meghan Markle Needs Christian Dior Contract Before Her Star Power Fades Away
Let’s just say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not had a good week, a good month, or even a good year for that matter. They were just dropped from their $20 million contract with Spotify for not producing enough content for the online streamer.
If that weren’t enough, they’ve also been mocked and ridiculed for their story about how they were chased by the paparazzi through the streets of New York City.
A lot of people say that would be impossible, seeing how there’s always traffic on the streets. And if that weren’t enough, sources also say that Harry and Meghan were not invited to the Trooping the Color this year.
And while there has been no official announcement made just yet about Meghan Markle’s supposed contract with Christian Dior, royal expert Christopher Andersen says that the Duchess of Sussex clearly needs this to happen in order for her brand to continue chugging along. He told Fox News in an interview, “Meghan and Dior would seem like a logical fit. It’s a very tentative first step into the endorsement world and a very upscale one at that.”

Andersen continued, “Appearing in glossy ads for a haute couture house like Dior isn’t likely to shake things up the way the Duchess of York did when she started doing commercials for Weight Watchers. By the way, Fergie also had endorsement deals with Wedgwood, Avon, and Charles Schwab – not to mention a whole series of book and TV deals – so there’s precedent for what the Sussexes are doing.”
He also added that this might be Meghan’s last chance to “cash in” before she becomes yesterday’s news. So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about the matter.
