According to royal watcher Stewart Pearce, the Markle’s caused a breach in the monarchy with their defection yet senior royals plugged the fissure in record time. “The eruption took because of Harry and Meghan leaving the way that they did, although of course, their departure was well-known about by Prince Charles, by the Queen and also by Prince William, etc., way before we knew about it,” he claims.

The royal expert added, “You can just imagine when Harry, full of love for the lady he was falling in love with, arrived back and went to see Her Majesty. She’d have said ‘let’s take this easily, let’s court her for a year, and then let’s talk again.’” We all know how the story actually ended.
According to Pearce, “They talked again from what I understand from the people that I know, and Harry was emphatic ‘I want to marry her’ and the strategy was created.”
“Her Majesty would say ‘what happens if this doesn’t work with the British people?’”

Should one believe what Pearce is saying? That depends on your point of view but he added of the so-called plan, “So the whole strategy was developed right at the very beginning, it came to a shock to us but actually, the mechanism was always there, all of the possibilities.”
“That’s how pragmatic Her Majesty is, which is why she’s able to fly like an eagle over the whole thing observing, and not get caught up in the corruption or the vilification or the negativity.”
His words come as Meghan and Harry make it clear they are not going anywhere anytime soon. According to their pet journalist and “soul mate” Omid Scobie, they are in a new chapter of their lives and plan to hit the ground running with impact and inspiration for us all. Cannot wait.

Thus they sit in their Montecito mansion and figure out new ways to lecture us on conservation while roaming around town in gas guzzlers to and from the market. Last week Prince Harry Himself flew aboard a private jet to Colorado where he got his polo on.
Maybe all of their shameless excess is down to, as royal expert Phil Dampier said, the fear that people, “could forget about them” if they actually stayed as private as they claim to want?
