British royal family news teases that Meghan Markle has at least one fangirl, Jameela Jamil, her latest Archetypes podcast guest. Who is the woman who fawned over the host, proclaiming her to be, “kind and normal?” Let’s take a deep dive into this scintillating personality.
Jameela Jamil has been described as a, “presenter and actress,” and was MM’s guest on her ninth episode titled, ‘The Audacity of the Activist.’ The Good Place star was also one of Meghan’s 15 Forces For Change in the September 2019 Vogue issue she guest-edited.
During the podcast Jameela was eager to compare her relationship with James Blake to Meghan’s marriage to Prince Harry. According to the Daily Mail, she gushed that her man, “is just an incredible human, an incredible friend and I don’t think I could have withstood all this without him. I know you have a very similar dynamic with Harry. It is a really sweet dynamic of you two.”
Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan Are Sweet
After the two women worked together on the Vogue issue, Jameela and James are thought to have visited the royal runaways in Montecito. The alleged visit, “came a day after Jameela said the Duke of York – Prince Harry’s uncle – was the Firm’s ‘alleged resident pedo’ and claimed he was ‘besties with a sex trafficker’ in a Twitter rant on August 22 2020.” So, the ladies have royal bashing in common as well.
A source told The Sun, “Jameela and James drove up to Montecito from Los Angeles and spent time with Meghan and Harry,” and apparently the guests were papp snapped on the beach in Montecito on August 22.
Jameela was not subtle in her rant tweet in which she defended Meghan by attacking the royals: “I *THINK* they may be more embarrassed by their alleged resident pedo Andrew who was besties with a sex trafficker, than an American supporting women voting in her own country, and loosely referencing the importance of general democracy which is being threatened here currently.”
Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan Live In Montecito
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Meghan and Jameela used the podcast to discuss diet culture, body shaming, and social media trolling. The former stated that standing for something is the same as standing for something good. Then she dropped the kicker: “Not everyone sees it that way, especially when it comes to women.”
Megs went on to say, “Why is it perceived as: “how dare she” and why does some feel the need to make a woman with big opinions feel small. I started to notice this, almost default eye roll, when someone would mention a woman fighting for a cause, and almost, ‘here she goes again’ or maybe it was more: ‘Why can’t she just sit down. The unspoken annoyance that seem to swirl around women in activism was astounding to me and I couldn’t quite wrap my head around it. I still can’t.’”
