Now that Meghan Markle is about to become a first-time mom, will she and Kate finally be the close sister-in-laws that everyone thought they would be? That’s what many Royal fans can’t help but wonder as there is a new report that suggests Meghan Markle’s baby might help end her royal feud with Kate Middleton. Here’s what we know.
According to Britain’s Express, many are hoping that Kate and Meghan will be able to put their differences aside for the sake of their families. As a matter of fact, family consultant Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart recently told Express.co.uk that tensions are fairly commonplace between in-laws, but there are certain strategies that people like Kate and Meghan can adapt to avoid causing an “irreversible tear” in their relationship. What’s more, it looks like Kate will have to be the one that reaches out to Meghan first.
She told the publication, “When conflict occurs, it’s important to try and see things from the other’s point of view and to practice ‘love-in-action’ strategies. Both duchesses should make efforts to ‘check-in’ often and stay connected. Maintaining regular contact can avoid misunderstandings and tensions that arise from miscommunication or feelings of hurt from feeling excluded. Meghan is pregnant and is likely to need more support than ever so any kindness and advice Kate could give would undoubtedly be appreciated and reciprocated.”

Of course, time will only tell if Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will become close or continue to grow apart. With that being said, the two women will always be in each other’s lives though, especially since they are both a part of the British royal family. Plus, their children will be first cousins! It’s without a doubt that they will be enjoying royal play dates at Kensington Palace sometime in the near future.

Pure fantasy!
Uggh… This baby is going cement the Royal Family together?
Oh, please. Why is this “Baby ” going to be the Savior of Great Britain?
Good grief. The only people who care about that kid is Harry and maybe Meggot. Maybe.
Hi, Pennie! Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is going well. I reckon Meghan WILL care about the kid (or kids if twins). However, you are right: it will NOT be the “savior of Great Britain.” Actually, GB is in a lot of turmoil right now, as is the U. S. It seems no one can get get along with anyone else. Everyone is looking to be offended, and so they are. Too bad about their delicate psyches. Too many “kids” and not enough “grownups.” Sorry to be on my soapbox, but I know you are a good “listener.” Hope your Wednesday is a good one!
First – Her name is Meghan.
Second – the Mother and loads of others will care about the child not that kid.
Who cares? Why do they have to get along or be eat friends just because they are married to brothers? Yes, it would be easier on the brothers, but as long as they are respectful to each other it’s okay.
