Meghan Markle’s supposed ‘bombshell’ of a memoir might flop really hard. At least, that’s what one expert believes as he thinks that the Duchess of Sussex should steer clear of writing anything controversial or scandalous about the royal family.

While Prince Harry’s Spare did very well in book sales, the general public might not be able to stomach another tell-all book from the Sussexes. At least, not right away. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Entertainment expert Mark Boardman says that the last thing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle need to do right now is expose any more dirt about the royal family. They’ve already said so much that it’s caused enough damage for the royals.

Anything else said might cause some major problems for Harry and Meghan’s public image, too. That’s because there’s only so much dirty royal drama that the public can take from them.

In an interview with the Daily Express, Mark said, “Meghan’s memoirs could stir controversy and reignite debates surrounding her relationship with the Royal Family especially if she chooses to reveal previously undisclosed details.

Any further revelations or ‘bombshells’ about her time as a royal could impact her career and reputation in various ways with an almost impossible task to make a further comeback.”

He continued, “The impact largely depends on the nature of the disclosures. Positive revelations about her experiences and her charity work could enhance her reputation and strengthen her brand as a humanitarian.”

Boardman also said that the last thing Meghan Markle should do is be highly critical of anyone. That’s because she might end up just polarizing the public’s opinion about her. 

He said, “It’s a fine line to walk, and Meghan would need to carefully consider the potential consequences.”

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about whether or not she plans on writing a tell-all book of her own. If she does though, there’s no doubt that the media will be all over it. Watch this space.
