It looks like this isn’t going to be the cheerful holiday season that she was hoping for it to be. Clearly, we are talking about Meghan Markle as there’s strong speculation suggesting her Christmas holiday is about to turn into a nightmare.

That’s because there’s heavy speculation suggesting that her father, Thomas Markle, might not be doing too well.

As a matter of fact, Thomas himself has even stated that he feels like he’s on his death bed. He had to have his leg amputated during an emergency surgery while in The Philippines.

While reports have indicated that Meghan did send her estranged father a handwritten note, that was the extent of their contact. For some reason or another, she simply refuses to call him.

Should something happen to Thomas Markle between now and the holidays, there’s no doubt that it’s going to make international headlines. And worse, everyone is going to be looking in Meghan’s direction.

That’s because she’s forever going to be remembered as the daughter who refused to call her father before he died.

Sure, there are a lot of people who hold grudges, but what the Duchess of Sussex seems to be doing is more than that. Meghan flat out refuses to be in the same room as Thomas Markle, let alone speak to him.

Sure, he might have tried to make a quick buck with the paparazzi right before her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in 2019, but was that the reason why she had to pull the plug on their relationship? That’s what everyone wants to know.

At this point, Harry’s wife can only hope that nothing happens to her father and if something does, she wants the news to remain as quiet as possible. But whether or not that will actually happen remains to be seen. She is still a member of the royal family, after all.
