British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr. has announced a big move at the same time his daughter makes a comeback.
Here’s what to know about the Markle family. Last week Diva Duchess dropped a preview of her Netflix project, With Love, Meghan, on her newly juiced up Insta account. A new year, a new Meghan.
Fresh on the heels of Meghan’s renaissance, Thomas announced he’s leaving the land of the free for greener pastures—maybe South East Asia?
Royal Family News – Meghan And Her Dad Twin
Thomas is 80 and an Emmy award winning lighting director. He has had two heart attacks and a stroke, in the time that Meghan became a princess, failed, and returned to the blogosphere. The fact that he has relocated to from Mexico to California makes her snub of him all the more horrific.
According to The Sun, Thomas said “I am ready for a change. I have felt stuck in a rut for some time and I am ready to meet new people and experience kindness.”
He has gotten little of that from his youngest daughter “who he affectionately dubs ‘Megsy.’”
Royal Family News – Megsy Should Visit Her Dad?
Thomas has never met his current son-in-law, the man formerly known as Prince, Harry. But he “really liked” Meghan’s first husband, actor Trevor Engelson.
Megsy divorced him two years prior to meeting her frog and Thomas thinks that Trevor didn’t understand why Meghan chose to jettison him, reportedly FedExing her wedding ring back to the unlucky hubby.

Meghan has never introduced Harry’s two kids, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, to her father. The elder Markle says he is ready to travel “with his son and Meghan’s half brother, Thomas Jr, who he has a good relationship with.”
In addition to kindness, Thomas also seeks “peace” and promises that the “door is always open” for Meghan despite her nasty behavior.
In the meantime, Meghan is up to her old tricks, launching a venture that has been roundly ridiculed. With Love, Meghan, drops on January 15 and viewers were quick to point out all the ways in which Meghan “borrowed” content from others.
The Diva Duchess now is apparently a beekeeper just like her father-in-law King Charles, and “eagle-eyed viewers have already pointed out a number of uncanny similarities to old recipes and shows following the trailer’s release.”
“Many online believed that the style of the Netflix release was far too similar to others in what has been branded a “copycat” move.”
In particular Meghan drew unflattering comparisons to Emma’s Kitchen, a YouTube series hosted by Celebrity MasterChef Emma Weymouth, Marchioness of Bath. Do you plan to watch Meghan’s show?
