Meghan Markle’s Estranged Father Seething With Anger

Meghan Markle’s estranged father is reportedly “seething with anger” at “the relentless criticisms” her daughter gets for everything she does. The 74-year-old Thomas Markle likewise reportedly blamed “snobs” for all the negative news about Meghan, per News.com.au.

There has been a lot of news going around about Meghan and among the latest one is the “tension” between her and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. According to sources, Kate reportedly “slapped down” Meghan and told her not to berate her team at Kensington Palace in an incident that happened before the Royal wedding last May. There is also another rumor that Meghan made Kate cry over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress.

With the seemingly continuous personal attacks on Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex feels like the British press is conducting a smear campaign against her, an insider revealed. Meghan, who’s been famous for the role in the Suits, a U.S. TV series, said she tries her best not to read any press to avoid knowing all those negative news and comments about her.

The Royal aides did not confirm nor deny that this incident took place but instead said that Kate and Meghan are “very different people.” Whether or not these are true, if one considers the duchesses personalities and lifestyles, one could easily see that they don’t have that much in common aside from the fact that they are both married to a prince. Kate is more reserved while Meghan exudes a higher level of confidence.

It would seem as though her father, Thomas Markle, can no longer take any more of this bad publicity about his daughter. A friend of Thomas revealed that he told him: “How could they be so cruel and heartless? It hurts me deeply that one of the sweetest young women anyone could hope to meet is being trashed and bashed at every turn by a British establishment hell-bent on belittling her. All this is happening when she’s expecting her first child.”

In a rare statement, the Palace, however, denied that the rumored incidents even occurred.
