Meghan Markle’s Hollywood Friends Circle Shrinks Further After New ‘As Ever’ Launch

When As Ever launched last year, it came with a big bang, due to a lot of Hollywood A-listers being included in the PR parcel.

I’m talking the likes of Zoé Saldana, Kris Jenner and Chrissy Teigen. However, for her brand’s Mother’s Day edit, she has opted to downsize her choices of influencers and friends to send her package to.

What We Know About Meghan Markle’s As Ever Mother’s Day Edit

Meghan Markle was not lacking in Hollywood A-listers when As Ever launched, but now, the list has grown incredibly thinner.

This is especially telling since sources recently revealed that A-listers are actively avoiding her since they don’t want to be associated with her messy brand image.

Instead of the elites of Hollywood, Meghan opted to gift pals with a few thousand fans. One of her most able cheerleader, and current best friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, was among those who received the parcel.

She directly took to Instagram to gush to her 43,000 fans about the Duchess’s latest offering, and to share tantalizing pics of it. “Mamas day came early from the best mama. How absolutely stunning,” she wrote.

Also among the list of As Ever specialized Mother’s Day candles recipients is close friend and pilates instructor, Heather Dorak, who has 12,000 followers, and Today show editor, Adrianna Barrionuevo Brach, who has almost 7,000 followers.

Selecting from a list of mid-level influencers, the parcel also went to Kristina Zias, who has 350,000 followers, and Carly (@mycityapartment), who pulls 460,000 followers.

Prior to the launch of the Mother’s Day candles, Meghan suffered a bit of blow back for her marketing choices, which includes the usage of her children’s names and royal titles.

Among the parcel are the numerically named signature candles, and gourmet chocolates.

The £115 gift box also arrived with a handwritten note that attempts to explain the special meaning behind each candle.

The note read: “I developed the scents over the last year so that every note melded together to take me right back to a special memory with them. I can light the candle, close my eyes and I’m right there. The memorable moments of motherhood.”

Meghan then urged the lucky recipients to “enjoy every bite” of the chocolates, which are from Los Angeles brand Compartes.
