British royal family news reveals that Meghan Sussex of Markle had a “messiah complex” before exiting the palace, according to loyal royal aides.
She and her second husband Prince Harry fled the kingdom in 2020 after marrying in 2018, but not before making a lasting impression.
Royal pundit Tom Quinn’s new book is “Yes, Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants” and he gleaned his data from hundreds of former and current palace staffers. Quinn told Fox News that many staff members described to him Meghan’s “messiah complex.”

The New York Post points out that a messiah complex, aka a savior complex, pops up in people who think they have been called upon to save or help others. Whether they want it or not.
Quinn said that resulted in Meghan overinflating her sense of worth to the monarchy, thinking that she “could help with all sorts of problems, including poverty.” Curiously, she hasn’t done one thing to alleviate poverty since her freedom flight.
Unfortunately for Meghan “the aides saw her ideas of doing good as completely out of proportion to what she actually could do” an expensive lesson Ted Sarandos and Netflix learned the hard way.
Meghan Was Out of Touch at the Palace
One of Markle’s personal aides said that her former boss was “focused on how she could become the best-known and most-loved member of the royal family.”
They added that Grifter declared: “What Diana started I want to finish.” How’s that working out for the B-lister? Meghan went from being a one-shot cable actress to a member of one of the most powerful families on earth to now trying to peddle jam and dog collars. You decide.
Her new Netflix cooking show was roasted into oblivion this month, and when asked by Variety, Sarandos would neither confirm nor deny that the Markles are still welcome at the streamer.
If Tom Quinn had access to Meghan early on he would have told her that being married to the spare means that “you have to … accept that you’re taking a backseat position.”
Even an anonymous royal aide knew that “Quite rightly, [the queen] always had to be the center and focus of everything the royal family did” something Meghan failed to grasp.
But hey, she’s going to change the world one fruit preserve jar at a time. If she ever succeeds in snatching up some merch.
