Many see Meghan’s “presidential-like visit to her adopted ‘homeland’ of Nigeria” as the clearest evidence yet that she has more on her mind than scam-jam. Here’s what to know about Meghan’s Oval Office aspirations.
Royal Family News – Meghan Markle As POTUS?
Few know Meghan better than her Suits co-stars and Erika Alexander just declared that the Duchess of Excess is “heading to the White House.”
Likewise, experts told MailOnline that Meghan could taking inspiration from former POTUS Donald Trump.
US political analyst Christopher Phelps told MailOnline: “It would be a great story. The British prince who loved her so much he gave up his British citizenship to become an American. There would be no requirement for him to do it – but he would have to if she wanted to have any credibility.”
Royal Family News – Meghan Wants To Be Leader Of The Free World
One insider spilled to MailOnline today that the Dumbarton Duchess has the US Presidency as her ultimate goal. And the comparisons to Trump are similar: he used The Apprentice and Fox News as platforms before he won the Republican presidential nomination.
If Meghan follow in Trump’s footsteps, they would be the only American presidents with zero previous political service.
Then again, Meghan could be compared to the late POTUS, actor Ronald Reagan. He was Governor of California before becoming the 40th president of the United States, serving two terms from 1981 to 1989.
Phelps notes that like Reagan, Meghan could leverage her showbiz roots to enter politics.
Royal Family News – Will Meghan Enter Politics?
He added: “Her name will open doors but you can’t just say ‘You all know who I am – vote for me’ – she will need to have some substance on policy. Americans want to know how she would protect their jobs … and … tackle crime in their neighbourhoods.”
We already know how she tackles crime in Africa—by getting in bed with a money laundering scammer wanted in the US. The future looks bright for Rachel.
