British Royal Family news reveals although Taylor Swift may have been smiling  as she met with Prince William backstage at her Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium, she snubbed Meghan Markle. Meghan had written her a personal letter requesting an interview with her on her podcast and declined through a representative.

Taylor Swift was beaming with joy as she spent time with Prince William, even though she had declined a chance to work together with Meghan Markle in the past.

The upcoming monarch was seen busting out some energetic dance moves at Taylor’s Eras Tour performance Friday evening, before being taken backstage to meet the sensational pop star.

Accompanying William for this thrilling rendezvous were his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who happily joined in for a delightful selfie with Taylor.

Not to be left out, Taylor’s partner Travis Kelce also made a surprise appearance in the photo frame. According to reports, it was a smashing good time for all.

Meghan’s efforts to have Taylor as a guest on the podcast were unsuccessful, as the singer declined the offer through a representative; it’s unclear whether she actually saw the letter.

The Telegraph revealed that Meghan reached out to Taylor last year with a handwritten invitation, but the singer ultimately turned it down in spite of Meghan’s personalized efforts.

British Royal Family News: Meghan’s Previous Podcast Was Dropped By Spotify

The Duchess of Sussex’s previous show, Archetypes, faced an unfortunate fate as it was removed from Spotify, causing quite a stir when it was revealed it was cancelled.

Rumor had it Meghan and Prince Harry were no longer part of the platform because a high-ranking individual at Spotify allegedly criticized the Royal couple, referring to them as “f****** grifters”.

However, Meghan Markle has now joined forces with Lemonada Media and has successfully launched the first season of her revived podcast, also called ‘Archetypes’.

Excitingly, she is preparing to release a brand new podcast with them in the upcoming year. Hopefully for Meghan and Prince Harry, this new revival will do better than the first.
