Meghan Markle’s Popularity At An All-Time Low As She Turns Lifestyle Influencer

This year has been a particularly big one for Meghan Markle career-wise. She officially welcomed the New Year by returning to Instagram with a poignant video that saw her in a white gown and writing on the sands of an LA beach.

She followed this up with the title change for her lifestyle brand, from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever. Her Netflix cooking show was postponed from its January date to March, but that was just a mere pebble on the road.

Come March, ‘With Love, Meghan’ premiered on Netflix, with offerings from As Ever arriving alongside it. In April, she dived headfirst into her Lemonada media podcast ‘Confessions of A Female Founder.’ Shortly after, she shared the happy news that her Netflix show is returning for a second season.

She attended the Time100 event in NYC; she’s taken part in several interviews and podcasts, not least Drew Barrymore and Kern Lima. This year is going really well for the Duchess and she’s collecting her stats. The one thing that appears to be dropping despite it all is her popularity.

Meghan Markle Receives Her Lowest UK Approval Rating Ever

In a new poll published by YouGov, Meghan Markle is all but scrapping the barrel when it comes to how many Brits still see her in a positive light.

The poll’s outcome may have been affected by the discovery that Meghan Markle has been using her HRH title to send gifts to friends for a long time. If you can recall, even though they weren’t necessarily stripped of the HRH honorifics when they retired from their roles, they agreed never to use them again.

Well, years later, and the cat got out of the bag and we learned that Meghan has been signing off her gifts with HRH. A source says it’s only on a personal level, but you gotta wonder at the mentality since Harry claimed he married someone who doesn’t care about titles and such.

In light of this, a new YouGov poll places her popularity points to 20 percent, as in only 20 percent of Brits view her favorably. 65 percent view her unfavorably. This is a huge decline from 2019’s 55 percent positive reception, when she’d just welcomed son Archie and completed her South Africa tour.
In contrast, Harry enjoys a slightly better position with a 27 percent net favorability.
