Meghan Markle’s Royal Wardrobe Worth $1 Million

It looks like it does cost a pretty penny to make Meghan Markle look this good. In fact, there are new reports that suggest the Duchess of Sussex has a royal wardrobe that is worth a whopping $1 million.

Royal expert Katie Nichol recently told reporters that the Duchess of Sussex has already stepped out in clothing and accessories worth $1 million in just the last month.

After all, her custom Givenchy ceremony gown at her wedding was worth $440,000. She also wore a more streamlined Stella McCartney dress that has a price tag of $157,000 at her reception, too.

But that’s not all. Meghan has also been wearing pretty expensive dresses during her royal engagements and public appearances. The cream-colored Givenchy cape dress that she chose for her first solo outing with Queen Elizabeth cost $18,000.

In addition, her controversial and off-the-shoulder pink top and skirt for the Trooping the Colour ceremony cost $4,000 and the dress she wore to Prince Harry’s cousin’s wedding retails for about $6,000.

Katie Nichol also added that it has been Prince Charles who has picked up the tab for Meghan Markle’s costly wardrobe. But, every penny has been worth it. There’s even a chance that Meghan might re-wear some of her clothes in the coming months.

She told Entertainment Weekly in an interview, “Look at the publicity she has brought in run up to the wedding. I’d argue that’s worth every penny. When you are buying that sort of couture with those sorts of price tags it would be criminal not to re-wear them.”
