Since leaving the royal family in 2020, Meghan Markle has pretty much been in the spotlight: releasing a children’s book, doing interviews, appearing on talk shows, and even launching her own podcast, which was sadly short-lived.

These days, the Duchess seems to keep a pretty low profile, and except from the occasional glimpses fans get of her when she’s out and about, has been majorly out of the spotlight. However, this expert thinks it won’t last.

We’ve seen, and heard, and read, so much of Prince Harry this year. From the memoir to the numerous interviews he gave to promote it, right down to the controversial court case, Harry has rarely been out of the public eye.

In contrast, apart from interviewing talents on her Spotify podcast, there’s been very little coming from the Duchess this year.

Her Netflix animated series “Pearl” was cancelled and no other studio seems to have picked it up, and her Spotify podcast “Archetypes” was cancelled a few months ago.

As for the Netflix contract, no one knows what the future holds in store for the couple’s collaboration with the streaming giant. There’s been a lot of hush around the previously announced Invictus documentary, sadly.

With The New Surge Of Interest In “Suits,” Meghan Could Well Return To Acting.

Speaking to the Mail, a showbiz PR expert said: “Meghan has been uncharacteristically quiet in the public domain. But she has powerful new friends, so don’t expect the silence to last long.”

Royal expert Richard Fitz Williams expressed his surprise that the Sussexes are yet to reveal what they have planned for the future.

“It’s unclear, at the moment, what the Sussexes plan to do. Don’t forget they have always had the capacity to surprise. Well, having said that, it simply isn’t clear. I’m surprised there hasn’t been an initiative [so far].”
