Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Markle Says She’s The Victim Of Cyberbullying

Even though she has been the more vocal one in the press and on social media these past several years, Meghan Markle’s estranged sister Samantha Markle claims that she has been the victim of cyberbullying.

As a matter of fact, Samantha recently sat down with a local television crew in Polk County, Florida to explain that she has been forced to move and retreat out of the spotlight simply because she has been getting some pretty hateful and downright mean tweets and messages from royal fans who have slammed her for airing out the Markle family’s dirty laundry in public. Meghan Markle Royal News: Samantha Markle Goes On The Attack

For the last several years Samantha has been very vocal over the fact that her estranged sister, the Duchess of Sussex has cut the cord on the rest of the family. The two have not even spoken to each other since 2015. If that weren’t enough, Samantha is also feeling pretty sour over the fact that Meghan and their father, Thomas Markle, Sr. also have a strained relationship. Meghan stopped speaking to her father after he failed to show up at her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018.

Now Samantha says that she believes royal fans – and the public in general – are getting a little too involved in what she describes as a family issue. However, ever since reports indicated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were an item, Samantha herself has taken to her own social media accounts to criticize the royal couple.

“There’s a real family issue there,” said Markle from her Polk County home. “The public got involved. They took it too far without saying, ‘Hey, they’re family. They can speak out if they want to. It’s not really our business.’”

Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Markle Says She’s The Victim Of Cyberbullying

Despite her own comments, allegations and attacks, Samantha implies that some of the stuff she has written in the past has been taken out of context.

“The problem with tweets though is that you can’t hear tone of voice. While I thought I was saying something maybe cynical, maybe witty – people couldn’t hear it. They were interpreting it through their own life lessons,” she said.

Meghan Markle has not responded to any of her sister’s public comments.
