British royal family shows that Meghan Markle has a new bestie, Mindy Kaling. The actress and comedienne is featured in Meghan’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which drops January 15.

For her part, Kaling couldn’t wait to crow about her new friendship while at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5, 2025. According to her, one of the perks of being a Montecito minion is having “someone else cooking for me.” With a boast like that, is Kaling about to be Markled?

Showing that she’s willing to do the heavy lifting, while appearing on E!’s Live from the Red Carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes, Kaling publicized Meghan’s new venture.

According to Kaling “”I had had my baby and I think I was like, two months postpartum and she texted me and was like, ‘Do you want to be on my show?’” Kaling welcomed her third child in 2024.
“And when you hang out with Meghan, you know the food is going to be good. And so it’s just nice to have someone else cooking for me.”

The Office alum added “And I was like, ‘I’ll come to Montecito and have you cook for me and go to your garden.’ And that’s what we did.”

Kaling appeared with Meghan in the tease for With Love, Meghan, released on Jan. 2. Kaling appeared to be doing an Oprah when at one point she gasped, “This is probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life” and let her mouth hang wide open.

Speaking of Ozemprah, why wasn’t she in Meghan’s teaser? Or Melissa McCarthy? Or her father, Thomas Markle? All of these individuals once played a prominent role in Meghan’s life and now appear to have been Markled.

It’s gotten so bad between Thomas and Meghan that he announced he’s leaving their home state of California in order to find “kindness” and peace.” Isn’t that what Meghan’s always preaching about?
