Most people find it exhausting to pack up everything and haul themselves and loved ones even across town, let alone across the entire planet as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have done! That’s not even the half of it though since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (the Duke and Duchess of Boundless Energy) have actually moved over four times in the past year alone!

Before the debacle that has become known as “Megxit,” Prince Harry and Meghan were gifted an exquisite property known as Frogmore Cottage by Queen Elizabeth. In fact, the real estate was Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding present from the Queen. However, Mehan and Harry didn’t stay at Frogmore long even though they spent a hefty sum to renovate the place.

From Frogmore, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fled the U.K. and went with their son Archie and a couple of dogs to an estate on Vancouver Island in Canada. Harry and Meghan stayed there for a while but ultimately chose to move down to California. Many thought this was because Meghan Markle was looking to head back into her former acting career, but as most know … that hasn’t happened so far.

In California, Meghan and her royal husband set themselves up in the palatial estate of Tyler Perry, a film producer and one of Meghan’s friends. However, Tyler Perry’s place was never meant to be a permanent home for Meghan and Harry. As many know by now, Prince Harry and Meghan’s fourth move was to Santa Barbara just a few months ago. There, they purchased a $14.5 Million dollar home in the same neighborhood as Oprah Winfrey and Kevin Costner.

It’s All About Logistics For Prince Harry And Meghan

As noted above, moving even once can be a daunting task for many, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did it four times and across three countries in less than a year. Imagine all of the things the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would have needed to organize and schedule! Indeed, there’s a number of things that Harry and Meghan would have needed to do to ensure a smooth move!

For example, was it staff or Prince Harry who made sure the mail was forwarded from the U.K. to Canada and then to the United States? Who made sure that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s cellphones had the appropriate SIM cards? Who was it that double-checked Meghan and Harry’s visa requirements? Who notified Harry and Meghan’s banks that they’d be leaving, and who opened up new accounts for them in their countries of destination?

Moving isn’t easy, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made it appear a breeze!

The Move To Santa Barbara Made Sense To Meghan

The area of Santa Barbara that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to us ultra-exclusive and ultra-privileged. Harry and Meghan’s new neighborhood is known as Montecito and apparently, the couple believes it’s the perfect spot to raise Prince Archie.

Indeed, a spokeswoman for Santa Barbara noted that “We’re thrilled they have chosen to make their home in Montecito. One of the reasons why celebrities love living in Santa Barbara and visiting here is because they feel like regular people and don’t get hassled by locals or paparazzi, though this may considerably up the ante – we hope not, for their sake. Many of the homes in Montecito are very well hidden from view with large hedges and gates, which helps give them the privacy and discretion they desire.”
